New Year _ New Beginnings

Welcome to the New Year of 2010! As we enter into this New Year, let us reflect on renewing our relationship in Christ. We always say that Jesus is the reason for the season, during the Christmas holidays; but do we really know who He is?

As we enter into this New Year, let us take the time to do some serious soul searching. Let us invite Christ to help us to fill every void that we are experiencing in our lives. Instead of making all of those unfulfilled New Year’s Resolutions, let us make a commitment to draw closer to God.

Let us decide in this year to glorify Our Father, by trusting in His Son-Jesus. Let us allow the Word of God to work in our lives. Let us show God that we are indeed, true believers. Let us walk by our faith in God, instead of by whatever circumstances that come our way.

In every area of our lives, let us consult Christ to guide us, and let us wait patiently for His reply before we attempt to do anything. Let us show Christ that we are eagerly anticipating His return, by allowing ourselves to be lights in this world of darkness. Let us increase our prayer life.

Let us change our way of thinking. Let us renew our minds in Christ. Let us cease from being negative and pessimistic, and start being positive and optimistic. When we say that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us, let us really mean it. When we truly begin to believe in the Word of God, we will then begin to experience the blessings of God.

Let us choose this year, who we are really going to serve. As for Emmanuel Intercessory Prayer Ministry, we choose to serve the Lord. We pray that you will choose to do the same.
