God has a great gift that he wants to give to each one of us, the gift of Salvation. Have you received it? You might feel that you are not worthy of God's gift or that you are the only one that has sinned or missed the mark. This is not true. These thoughts are only Satan's tactics to keep you in your sin condition. We all have said, done or thought things that were wrong: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." God demonstrates his own love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
In our sin condition, we are essentially dead and in a hopeless state. It takes giving our lives to Christ to bring us out of this hopelessness and into the fullness of joy that only He can give. Through Christ we can have eternal life.
Salvation is a gift from God that (if accepted) will ensure our spending eternity with our Father in Heaven. In order to receive this gift, you must: accept Jesus Christ into your life; repent of your sins (sins of omission and commission); and begin living a life that is pleasing to God. The Bible states in Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Salvation is not just for a select race, creed, color, gender, church, or denomination. It is for anyone that will accept it. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13.
We invite you to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and to turn from your sins today. Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior by saying this prayer...
"Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and that you were raised from the dead. Come into my heart! By faith, I receive you as my Lord and Risen Savior. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
If you prayed this prayer in faith, you are now saved!
