Congratulations, you have made the right choice; you are now a Child of God! Welcome To The Family!
Praise God for your decision to give your life to Christ. Now that you have made the wise decision to give your life to Christ, and have been officially welcomed into the family of God, it is now our task to steer you in the right direction, through the study of God's Holy Word.
First of all we want you to begin by reading 1 Corinthians 13 in its entirety aloud daily; and practice it also daily. This is the Love Chapter, and since Jesus is Love, and you are now His child, you want to learn His character and practice it also; but before you begin reading, Always invite the presence of God's Holy Spirit to join you in the study of God's Holy Word. The reason is because the Holy Spirit is sent to all who give their lives to Christ to teach us about Christ.
The next prescription or scripture that we recommend that you read aloud daily is Psalm 91 in its entirety. This is the protection chapter. It lets you know what your benefits are, now that you are a part of the family of God.
The third scripture that we are prescribing for you to read aloud daily is Romans 10: 16-17. The only way that you are going to remain faithful to Christ is to stay rooted in His Word.
The fourth scripture that we are prescribing for you is 2 Timothy 2:15. It is imperative that you study God's Word if you want to meet God's approval as well as be able to be tuned into the voice of the Holy Spirit who has been sent to live in you to teach you about Christ.
Now we want you to do an in depth study in 1 John Chapters 1-5 daily, until you grasp who Christ is in you, and who you are in Christ. This will help you to enter into a relationship with Christ. Every child of God needs to develop a personal relationship with Christ. This will also help you to know and obey God's voice, and not be deceived by the voice of a stranger.
The reason why we suggest that you read the scriptures aloud is because Faith comes to us by hearing and Hearing comes to us by the Word of God, therefore, when we hear ourselves proclaiming God's Word, we will begin to believe it faster. Of course, as with anything, you can use discretion if you are in an area in which it would not be appropriate to read aloud. In this case, you can read silent.
Last but not least, since you have now given your life unto the Lord, if you do not have a church home, you need to find an Anointed, Word Based Church, and join.
